You know in light of all this nazi stuff going on in Marvel I realised something, I feel sorry for the Hydra. I mean think about it, the Hydra used to be a magnificent mythical beast that got a great billing in disney's hercules which incidentally is the first time I saw a Hydra on the big screen when I was only a little boy. And when I saw that rapidly regenerating and multiplying snake dragon I knew even then as a young naive boy that it was awesome. Now look at what Marvel has done, people no longer think of Hydra and see a beautifully badass mythical beast but a gathering of Neo-nazi bastards whom corrupt everything they come into contact with and I don't think that's fair.

I mean the Hydra must be sitting somewhere weeping from it's multiple heads lamenting this gross misrepresentation thanks to a major comic chain. Showing sympathy and laying it's head on the hydra's proverbial shoulder would be a cyclops whom also understands the sting from Marvel, and patting the Cyclop's back would be Medusa (I don't actually know about that Marvel Character so correct me if I've made a mistake). And all of them would agree that this would never happen in DC comics, in DC they would all get to meet Wonder Woman and be shown true to their legends and be done beautifully. In fact if Wonder Woman could see these mythical creatures in this state of sorrow she would not take it laying down, no she'd give the Hydra a very big and snuggly scarf so all the heads could feel like they are being cuddled. She would give Medusa and all her snakes a pair of nifty shades and a nice dress so they could go out on the town with the gals and she would take the Cyclops to one side and show them episodes of Futurama so they could see how Leela Tarunga is a much more positive represenation of the cyclops race (and is incidentally a much better mutant than Scott Summers ever was).

And she wouldn't stop there, no she would no doubt start a rally to end the gross misrepresentation of these mythical beasts through unwanted association with horrible media representation and try to reignite interest in the core and more badass mythical roots. And you know who would be helping her do all this? Newt Scamander! Yes he's affinity with magical creatures and love for all things beasty and mythical would make him the perfect match for Diana's campaign and you know the two of them would love to meet each other. I can imagine Diana fan girling over how much she loved his book and Newt gushing that he's meeting a greek demi-goddess, and here's the thing! Warner Bros does both the Harry Potter movies and the DCEU so a cross over CAN happen! Imagine that! Superman flying with a Quidditch team, Batman waving a wand at Olivander's and Newt and Diana meeting with Hagrid to discuss the campaign to reallign our perception of the misrepresentated mythical creatures thanks to Marvel's poor story choices.

Okay I went on a bit of a tangent there, so let me sum up...the Hydra organisation are nazi scum...but the Hydra creature is a badass mythical beast whom would never support any ideaology Adolf Hitler would put forward. When you think of the Hydra think of the awesome beast from Disney's Hercules, and not what Marvel Comics has done. #MythicalBeastsmatter
