FoxWeaver timeline

First comes the spark...
Now fully garbed in his armour, mask covering his face and his lenses down with their burning orange glow he saw Orb Weaver's expression shift as she fidgeted, looking away from him. He felt something drop inside, and the visible part of his face fell into a remorseful sigh
"Are you okay?" he stepped forward before stopping himself and idly offered a hand
He wanted to withdraw, if he was intimidating her perhaps moving closer wasn't the right move to make but to his surprise she took his offer and gently placed the tips of her fingers into his soft grip
"Hmmmm...I'm fine"
What Fox didn't realise was, she was not in the least bit intimidated...

Second comes the feeling...
New armour, new tricks, new gadgets, even a new mask and yet some things still stayed the same. Stake outs were relentlessly boring, much like waiting for a bus and you're unsure if it will be late or not. Jack had taken his mask off, the new material was making his hair itch and syncing the tunes made that annoying buzzing sound which was just distracting when it was right in your ear, hardly suitable for a scout mission.
"I never said thank you"
"Yes you did" he smiled 
"I did?"
"Well not in those exact words but I grasped the grateful subtext, I was happy to help Ma-Sorry, Orb Weaver"
“Hmmmm, didn't you say no one could see or hear us up here…" She paused.  Her lips pulled into a small giggling smile as she grasped for the words to finish her thought, "you can call me Mags up here Jack, no one can hear us!"
His smile faltered briefly, considering putting his mask back on until her hand cut across him and placed her goggles (that he designed) right next to it. Her arm now across his chest didn't pull back but instead settled against his chest as the hand landed on his shoulder. Mags' face was then right next to his, her forehead gently rubbing against his cheek. He felt himself flush but he didn't pull away, instead his arm fell lightly onto her back and draped around.
"Thank you for making my new armour Jack....You're a very...very nice person"
He blinked, trying to keep his smile from faltering and maintain his current expression as within him a malestrom of warm emotions stirred inside, he knew the feeling and knew he should be terrified...but he was still smiling, and so was she. 

Third comes the Realisation...
Looking directly into her eyes at last, and facing the mirror within them. But no long filtered through the prism of his mental defiencies, hang ups, self doubt, self loathing, everything instilled by his poisonous parents he could finally see himself. She held his cheeks and kept her eyes fixed on his, the burning orange was almost dulled as silent tears leaked forth and she smiled from ear to ear, he could see. 
"I'm...I'm..."
He could see his own soul, he could see the person he truly was, the person she and everyone else had seen
"I'm....okay?"
"Yes!" Mags gushed almost crying whilst grinning, "Hmmmmm, yes okay! This is a new okay!”
"I...I love you Mags"
"I love you too!"

Finally there is the Future...
"Daddy, stap smoochin' mammy an' let's gang kick some bad bloke crease!"
Kamali was not in any mood to waste another second, but was considerate enough to wait for her parents to stop their bunkered displays of affection yet still teenager enough to whine about it
"I love you darling" Fox ignored his child's complains and held Mag's hand as they gently rubbed her bump, "You take care now"
"Aww, that's what I say hun!  Stay safe and take care," Mags kissed him back one last time, "Hmmmm… Stay safe, and I love you too"
